It turned out to be a Ducati dominating weekend for two racing series.

Both MotoGP and MotoAmerica SBK took to the world famous Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX - a favorite for many V1 MOTO V1P Trackday customers.

SATURDAY:

It kicked off on Saturday with the MotoAmerica SBK Race 1, where ex-Ducati Factory Rider, Danilo Petrucci, took what appeared to be an easy victory onboard the factory backed Ducati Panigale V4R.

Then later that day, the MotoGP boys took to the track for qualifying. What next was a record - Ducati locked out the top 5 places on the grid. Jorge Martin took poll position, followed by Jack Miller, Pecco Bagnaia, Johann Zarco, and Enea Bastianini.

SUNDAY:
MotoAmerica SBK Race 2 saw a bit of a battle between a Yamaha and the Panigale V4R of Danilo, but ultimately it was Danilo that took the victory and did the double at COTA 2022. Dude still has it, even though he racing much younger and more fit riders. Must be the Panigale :)

Next it was MotoGP's turn. And it was definitely a thrilling race. A few Suzuki's made it interesting, but ultimately it was a very strong performance from Enea Bastianini who took the victory with his fast pace in the later laps. For only his second season, he really knows how to conserve a tire for as doesn't he? Jack Miller also podiumed.

Ducati and COTA, nice one!
