More than motorcycles, it's a community.
When Carlos Lescale took over Northwest Honda, it wasn't just the name he changed - It was the entire culture.
With the new moniker of V1 MOTO came a deep desire by Carlos to immediately get involved in Houston's motorcycle community. Some of his first steps, which many of you now enjoy, were transforming the look and feel of the dealership, creating a home base for customers to feel welcome to hang out. A big part of this was taking part in the dealership and transforming it into a rider's lounge where you could have some coffee, watch the latest race, or watch a master technician work on your bike.

Then came hosting events and event sponsorship. From the unveiling of the Ducati Superleggera V4, or hosting a Father's day breakfast - V1 MOTO plays host to all kinds of events to serve the city we all love. But he didn't want to stop there - the dealership has also sponsored many events in the Houston area. Many MotoGP watch parties spring to mind.
But perhaps the two biggest things Carlos is involved in and most proud of are the Houston Desmo Owners Club (HDOC) and his V1P Trackdays.

You've probably seen Carlos (and other V1 MOTO team members) on HDOC group rides or the weekly Thursday night rides. You might have even been given a tow home or to the dealership after your chain busted or had some other kind of mechanical failure. But what you probably didn't know that V1 MOTO is the official supporting dealership of the HDOC. Sara Cole, the President of the HDOC, says, "Carlos is so passionate about Ducati and racing. There's a passion that comes through in all of his involvement in and around the club." Sara goes on to say, "Especially his trackday and rider coaching for his Ducati customers. A lot of us in the club feel like he's our mentor. He has a genuine passion for teaching - I feel like he's a mentor to many of us."

Which leads us to the V1P Trackdays. V1 MOTO has partnered with RideSmart events and typically provides V1P service at all of the Circuit of the America events. That service includes a space for your bike in the V1 MOTO Ducati garage, a mat for your bike, snacks, fruit, water, and other refreshments. But the biggest part of V1P Trackdays is the private track sessions where he provides one-on-one coaching on and off the bike, safety discussions, and video feedback. The format and levels are exactly like RideSmart, but highly concentrated and lead by Carlos - a former CMRA Superbike Champion.
