2025 Honda Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition Review – First Ride

Tom Roderick of Motorcycle dot com embarked on a journey to explore the evolution of Honda's Gold Wing over its 50-year history recently. His adventure began at Barber Motorsports Park, outside Leeds, Alabama, where he got some seat time with the Gold Wing that started it all for Honda: an original 1975 GL1000. It was a rare opportunity in more ways than one because Tom and other North American journalists could do back-to-back testing with the original Gold Wing, then jump over to a modern 2025 Honda Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary Edition. The performance differences were as stark as you can imagine, especially when reaching for the brakes!
